BOONE, Iowa—The Boone County Road Department is conducting bridge repairs on the Des Moines River Bridge on County Road E-57, 270th Street, the rest of this week. Traffic can expect single lane closures and flaggers. It is a construction zone, please use caution and expect possible delays. For those that are seeking updates on the closure of E-57, 270th Street, east of Luther from “U” Avenue and “X” Avenue, the 3-mile stretch remains closed with work expected continue into November.
