
The Ogden Bulldogs boys’ basketball team came up just short as Greene County edged Ogden, 67-63, in their season opener Monday, December 1, in non-conference matchup at home.
Ogden’s offense was led by Brayden Miller, who poured in 18 points, including four 3-pointers, and added 7 rebounds and 4 assists.
Colson Carson was right behind with 15 points, knocking down three triples, while also contributing 4 rebounds and 2 assists.
Kobe Current chipped in 11 points, hitting a three-pointer and going 2-for-2 at the free-throw line, while pulling down a team-high 12 rebounds.
Jordan Benjamin added 8 points, including a three-pointer, and Keagan Ristvedt dished out 7 assists and grabbed 4 rebounds.
The loss drops Ogden to 0-1, while Greene County improves to 1-0.
Ogden will look to bounce back on Thursday, December 4, when they host Perry (1-0) at 7:30 p.m. for junior high recognition night.
