Ogden girls fall to Pleasantville, Pocohontas

The Ogden Bulldogs traveled to Pleasantville and came up short, falling 44-31, on Monday, December 15, in a West Central Activities Conference game.

Dakota Jones led Ogden with 9 points, hitting three three-pointers on 3-of-9 shooting. 

Jones also grabbed 6 rebounds, including three offensive boards, and recorded 5 steals. 

Sawyer Curry added 6 points on 3-of-5 shooting, while Grace Christensen chipped in 6 points and 5 rebounds. 

Anna Wilson had 9 rebounds (4 offensive), 2 steals, and a block.  

Alena Wilson contributed 5 rebounds and a steal.  

Christensen led the team in assists with 2, while Curry, Anna Wilson, Alena Wilson, and senior Lauren Mathews each added one. 

Ogden dropped to 0-7 overall and 0-4 in conference play. 

Bulldogs Struggle at Pocahontas Area 

On Tuesday, December 16, Ogden faced a tough non-conference test on the road against No. 12 Pocahontas Area and fell 70-9.  

Ogden (0-8 overall, 0-4 conference) will look to regroup Friday, December 19, when they host Woodward-Granger (3-3 overall, 0-2 conference) in a conference matchup at Ogden High School.   

The game will be broadcast on KWBG FM 101.5, AM 1590, and streamed live at kwbglive.com with sports director Ryan Wendt on the call with tip-off at 6:15 p.m.
