Violent & Serious Felony Offenses
- Juan Anthony Davila Moore, 23, Ames – Jury verdicts of guilty to Robbery 1st Degree and Kidnapping 2nd Degree (Class B Felonies). Sentenced to 50 years in prison with a 35‑year mandatory minimum. Case involved the beating, armed kidnapping, and abandonment of a Muscatine man in Boone (Jan. 2025). Investigated by Boone Police.
- Adrian Wayne Conine, 38, Ames – Guilty plea to Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd (Class D Felony, Habitual Offender) and Interference with Official Acts Resulting in Bodily Injury (Serious Misdemeanor).
