
The Boone boys’ basketball team hit the road Tuesday, February 10, for a Raccoon River Conference game, but Adel‑DeSoto‑Minburn handed the Toreadors a 73–41 loss.
Hendrix Moorman paced Boone with 15 points, shooting 4-of-9 from the field while knocking down 3-of-7 from long range.
He also went 4-for-4 at the free‑throw line and grabbed 3 rebounds, including one on the offensive glass.
Landon Myers added 9 points on 4-of-8 shooting and hit 1-of-3 from three-point range.
Myers also led Boone on the boards with 6 rebounds, including one offensive.
Jude Baumgardner contributed 8 points, shooting 3-of-8 from the floor and hitting 1-of-4 from beyond the arc, while adding 1-of-2 at the line.
Myers pulled down 6 rebounds and 1 offensive rebound.
Cole Christeson grabbed 4 rebounds and 2 steals, and Moorman had 3 rebounds and 1 offensive rebound.
Christeson finished with 3 assists against just 2 turnovers while Baumgardner recorded 3 assists and no turnovers
With the loss, Boone drops to 4–15 overall and 1–14 in the Raccoon River Conference.
ADM improves to 17–2 overall and 13–2 in league play.
Boone will now prepare for its final conference contest of the regular season, traveling to North Polk on Friday, February 13, to face a Comets team sitting at 10–9 overall and 6–8 in the conference.
The girl‑boy doubleheader will be broadcast live on KWBG FM 101.5, AM 1590, and kwbglive.com, with sports director Ryan Wendt on the call.
The girls game is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. followed by the boys at approximately 7:30 p.m.
