
The Ogden Bulldogs girls’ basketball team wrapped up its season Tuesday, February 17, in Class 2A Region 1 play, falling to Ridge View, 51–14, in Holstein.
Sophomore Grace Christensen led the Bulldogs with 6 points, hitting one three‑pointer and knocking down a free throw.
Five other Bulldogs reached the scoring column, including senior Lauren Mathews, freshman Layla Wells, sophomore Paysen Graden and junior Sawyer Curry with 2 points each.
With the victory, Ridge View improves to 12–10, and Ogden closes the season at 2–21.
Season Leaders
Dakota Jones scored 116 points, averaging 5.3 points per game and shooting a 18.1 field goal percentage.
She ended with 86 rebounds and averaged 3.9 rebounds per game.
Jones also had with 26 assists, averaging 1.2 assists per game.
Christensen ended with 103 points, averaging 5.4 points per game and shooting a 21.3 field goal percentage.
She had 26 assists, averaging 1.4 assists per game.
Mathews had 83 points, averaging 3.8 points per game and shooting a 31.4% field goal percentage and 33.3 percent from the 3-point line.
She had 108 rebounds and averaged 4.9 rebounds per game, including 4.4 defensive rebounds and 0.5 offensive rebounds.
Mathews also had 18 assists, averaging 0.8 assists per game.
Anna Wilson had 71 rebounds and 3.7 rebounds per game.
