DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service Office in Des Moines has provided updated information concerning the potential for hazardous weather this week. Expectations are for severe thunderstorms (first threat of the year) over much of Iowa. The first round is expected late Thursday night and a second round around Friday evening.
