DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service Office in Des Moines has released updated information concerning the potential for severe weather. The forecast calls for up to an Enhanced Risk (Level 3 of 5) for severe weather with large hail, damaging winds, and a few tornadoes possible. Severe weather is possible for much of the area with the highest risk in southwest Iowa after 5pm today.
