
The Ogden girls track and field team turned in a strong performance Thursday, April 30, at the Don Howard Invitational at Goeppinger Field in Boone.
Elyse Fisher earned gold in the 3000-meter run, winning the race in 12:36.90.
Madysen Benjamin claimed first place in the high jump, clearing 4‑10.
Ogden captured a win in the shuttle hurdle relay as Ella Anderson, Benjamin, Paysen Graden and Alena Wilson crossed the line first with a time of 1:10.80.
The Bulldogs closed the meet with a victory in the 4×400-meter relay with Sophie Seligman, Trinity Stoneburner, Layla Wells and Wilson finishing first in 4:30.76.
Alena Wilson earned a runner‑up finish in the long jump, leaping 15‑7.75 and also placed second in the 100‑meter hurdles with a time of 17.05.
The sprint medley relay team of Aubrey Leonard, Graden, Stoneburner and Dakota Jones finished second with a time of 2:01.96.
Ogden placed second in the distance medley relay, as Emmalyn Strouse, Alauna Wells, Ella Dutcher and Addison Hunziker ran 5:09.64.
Seligman finished third in the 400-meter dash, running 1:05.22.
Fisher placed third in the 1500-meter run with a time of 5:45.20.
Macy Bristle earned third place in the discus, throwing 92‑6.
Ogden’s 4×200-meter relay team of Leonard, Sidney Crane, Anderson and Grace Christensen placed third in 1:59.04.
