Both the Boone boys’ and girls’ soccer teams lost to Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Thursday, May 7, in Raccoon River Conference play.
Girls game: No. 9 ADM 8, Boone 0
The girls dropped an 8–0 decision to No. 9 ADM at Goeppinger Field.
ADM improved its record to 9‑3‑1 on the season while the Toreadors now sit at 2‑4‑4 overall.
The Toreadors travel to Webster City (5‑6) on Tuesday, May 12.
Boys game: ADM 10, Boone 0
The boys faced another difficult conference matchup, falling 10–0 at ADM High School Tiger Stadium.
Boone goalkeeper Lincoln Buchwald finished with eight saves while allowing 10 goals, resulting in a 44.4 save percentage.
The loss moves Boone to 0‑15 on the season, while ADM improved to 4‑6‑3 overall.
The Toreadors will travel to Monroe to face Prairie City‑Monroe on Monday, May 11.
