
Ogden’s baseball team fell to Avoca-Hancock-Shelby-Tenant-Walnut, 12-4, in a non-conference contest Friday, June 26, at Ogden High School.
Hunter Mitchels finished with two hits, including a triple, while adding an RBI and scoring a run.
Colson Carson contributed a key extra-base hit as well, tallying a double, one hit overall, and driving in two runs.
Bek Anderson recorded a hit and scored a run.
Treyton Mitchell added a hit, and CeJay Jones drove in a run.
Keagan Ristvedt and Brody Burdette each crossed the plate.
Mitchell took the loss as the starting pitcher, finishing with two strikeouts.
The Bulldogs turned to the bullpen, where CeJay Jones and Ben Snedden each struck out two batters in relief, while Logan Ryan added another strikeout.
Ogden now sits at 11-15 overall and 8-11 in West Central Activities Conference play as the team looks to regroup heading into the final stretch of the season.
The Bulldogs will return to conference action on Monday, June 29, traveling to Panora to face Panorama (3-16 overall, 3-14 conference) in a West Central Activities Conference matchup.
