DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service Office in Des Moines has provided updated information concerning severe weather and heat this weekend. Hot and humid conditions will occur this weekend and thunderstorm chances will return. Much of central Iowa will be affected. Heat will impact much of the state through this weekend and early next week. Severe storms are possible Sunday night.
