DES MOINES, Iowa—The Weekly Drought Monitor Map showed improvement in drought conditions across the state, however there’s still nearly 20% with Moderate Drought conditions. Last week, Severe Drought conditions dominated Ida and Sac Counties. Now, most the the Severe Drought is in northern Ida County. Last week’s rain improved conditions in Greene and Webster Counties.
Locally, Boone County remains drought free.
