The Ogden football team battled, but Manson-Northwest Webster pulled away for a 24-13 victory Friday, September 11, at Ogden.
Ogden quarterback Carson Lloyd completed 16 of 24 passes for 163 yards and two touchdowns.
He also contributed 30 rushing yards on three carries.
Lloyd spread the football to several receivers, led by Weston Sundell, who hauled in seven receptions for 67 yards.
Tyler Lass added four catches for 53 yards and a touchdown, while Kobe Current and Brayden Miller each recorded a 17-yard reception.
Jackson Klith chipped in three catches for nine yards.
Klith led the rushing attack with 20 yards on 15 carries, while Lass added two yards on one carry.
Defensively, Ryder Eklund paced the Bulldogs with 12 tackles and intercepted a pass.
Current finished with 11 tackles, two tackles for loss and a sack.
Dillon Moe recorded nine tackles, while Landon Alexander contributed 8.5 tackles and two tackles for loss.
Lass added five tackles and one tackle for loss.
The loss drops Ogden to 1-2 on the season, while Manson-Northwest Webster improved to 1-2.
Ogden will look to bounce back when it opens district play on the road against West Marshall (1-2) on Friday, September 18.
The Bulldogs will be seeking to get back to the .500 mark and build momentum as district competition begins.
