BOONE, Iowa—The 50th Anniversary of Pufferbilly Days, the Boone community celebration, continues to move ahead, even with a rainy forecast. Already some street closures have occurred and more will occur.
Thursday, the Farmers Market was adjusted to 9th Street to keep traffic flowing on Story Street while set up was beginning. The Opening Ceremony is scheduled for 4:30 this (Friday) afternoon.
Saturday night entertainment will feature “Back in Black” (AC/DC Cover Band) and 90’s Rockshow (90’s Tribute Band). KWBG’s Paul Clark had a chance to talk with Darren Caperna, lead singer for “Back in Black”.
