The Ogden girls’ cross country team finished 13th at the Sam Iverson Invitational on Thursday, September 24, in Grundy Center.
MFL MarMac captured the team championship with 89 points, edging Jesup, which finished second with 92.
Sumner-Fredericksburg was third with 118 points, followed by Bondurant-Farrar with 132 and Aplington-Parkersburg with 137.
Ogden finished 13th in the 15-team field with 299 points.
Sophie Seligman led the Bulldogs, finishing 37th overall with a time of 22:03.8.
Kelsey Spencer was Ogden’s second runner across the finish line, placing 63rd in 23:30.7.
Alena Wilson followed closely behind, finishing 65th with a time of 23:33.8.
Lola Chevailler placed 70th in 24:05.5, while Rylin Casey completed Ogden’s team scoring with a 78th-place finish in 24:32.8.
Addison Hunziker rounded out the Bulldog lineup, placing 85th with a time of 25:09.0.

The Bulldogs will return to action on their home course when they host the Ogden Invitational at Don Williams Golf Course on Monday, September 28, beginning at 5:10 p.m.
