
BOONE, Iowa—The Boone County Sheriff’s Department continues it’s investigation into a three vehicle accident, late Saturday morning on the west side of Ogden. Boone County Sheriff Andy Godzicki released information today:
On February 7, 2026, at approximately 11:15 a.m., Boone County deputies responded to a three-vehicle accident with multiple injuries at the intersection of Highway 30 and G Avenue.
A black 2014 Ford F-150, driven by Samantha Moore of Casey, Iowa, was turning north onto G Avenue from Highway 30 and failed to yield to an oncoming westbound gray 2025 Kia Carnival driven by Danielle Kielty of Rock Rapids, Iowa. This resulted in a head-on collision.
Following the initial impact, both vehicles struck a third vehicle that was stopped at the intersection, a blue 2005 Chrysler Town & Country driven by Kevin Rhodes of Madrid, Iowa.
The driver of the Ford F-150 sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The driver and several passengers of the Kia Carnival also sustained injuries and were transported for treatment at a local hospital.
Samantha Moore was cited for failure to yield to an oncoming vehicle.
The crash remains under investigation by the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
Assisting at the scene were Ogden Fire, Ogden First Responders, Boone County Hospital, Boone Fire, Elmquist Towing, and Condon’s Towing.
