Anthony “Tony” Stuhldryer

PERRY, Iowa—Funeral arrangements have been set for 47 year old Anthony “Tony” Stuhldryer of Perry, Iowa. He passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021, at his home in Perry, Iowa. Funeral services will be held on Saturday September 4, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care, 1721 Park Street, Perry, Iowa. Visitation will be on Friday September 3, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Everyone is encouraged to dress in their Cubs gear or dress casual. Burial will be in the Violet Hill Cemetery at Perry, Iowa. Memorials will be given to his family and may be left at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Online condolences may be left at www.carrisfuneralhome.com.

Anthony “Tony” Ray Stuhldryer was born on September 26, 1973, at Clinton, IA to Dennis Dale and Diana Lee (Smith) Stuhldryer Sr. He graduated from Perry High School with the class of 1994 and then attended Northeast Iowa Community College in Calmar, IA for Diesel Mechanics. He was united in marriage to Jessica Mae Blaisdell at Trinity Lutheran Church in Perry, IA on June 5, 1993. He worked at Van Wall Equipment, Percival Scientific, owned Dallas County Customs which built motorcycles, Home Depot, TMC Transportation, Gator Excavating, and lastly at MBK Transport.

He enjoyed Cubs Baseball, riding his black and green Kawasaki Teryx KRX and working on his house. Tony coached both baseball and softball in Perry Little League. Often found tinkering in his garage or enjoying his pool and tending to his prized lawn. Tony loved his dogs, loud music, big trucks, movies, and most of all his family.

Left to cherish Tony’s memory are his wife Jessica Stuhldryer, Perry, IA, children, Nicole (Ethan) Terrell, Huxley, IA, and Austin Stuhldryer, Ames, IA, parents Dennis Sr. and Diana Stuhldryer, Perry, IA, sister, Tina (Chad) Palmer, Ogden, IA, brother, Denny Stuhldryer Jr., St. Joseph, MO, his mother and father-in-law, Harvey and Paula Blaisdell, Perry, IA and many other relatives and friends.
