BOONE, Iowa—The Boone Downtown Arch has been rededicated during a brief event Friday afternoon. The original arch was dedicated 110 years ago. George Eckstein received the honor of cutting the ribbon. Earlier this year, Eckstein began the mission of garnering support and donations to make the restoration of the Downtown Arch a reality.
