Dr. Julie Trepa, Superintendent, Boone Community School District talks about Monday’s meeting of the Boone School Board and preparation for the beginning of school. Trepa says so far, student registration is running a little behind. She encourages parents to get registration completed this week. Park talks about Quitline Iowa and Myquit which has a youth focus. Park says there are still issues with tobacco, but there’s an increase in issues with vaping and actual vape products.
