John Roosa, Administrator, Boone County Landfill and Boone County Recycling. Roosa talks about the schedule for the Landfill over the July 4th Holiday. He also talks about the new fee being charged for taking municipal solid waste at the landfill. It went into effect July 1st. That also happened to be the date that the diversion effort of taking C&D (construction and demolition) waste from Ames and Story County to MetroWaste authority ended. As of Tuesday, it was coming back to the Boone County Landfill. Aired Wednesday, July 02, 2025.
