Boone Area Veterans Center, Mike Gibbs and Fred Greiner are on hand to talk about the brief history of the project. Members of Boone Veteran organizations have actually talked about the idea for over ten years. Gibbs explained that once they decided to move forward they began searching for a site, working with the City and Chad Houston of Kruck Plumbing and Heating, they finally got a location.
