BOONE, Iowa—The Boone County Sheriff’s Department reported on September 27th that a body had been found in a farm field, just off Highway 30 near Beaver, Iowa. Boone County Sheriff’s Department Detectives Andy Godzicki and Brian Pontius responded to the call with Boone County Search and Rescue. The Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation was also called in to assist with the investigation. The body was removed and sent to the State Medical Examiner. Today, Godzicki reported that after a careful analysis of the human remains, it has been determined the identity of the remains are that of 52 year old Arthur H. Chambers of Boone and Grand Junction. The circumstances of this death are still under investigation. The Iowa DCI and the Iowa Medical Examiners Office are assisting with this investigation.
