OGDEN, Iowa—Ethan Bailey as been named the new Police Chief for Ogden. Bailey will replace his father Mick Bailey who retired at the end of 2022. Ogden Mayor Mark Trueblood officially announced that Ethan Bailey would fill the position during this week’s Ogden City Council meeting. He said Bailey was selected interviews with two candidates. Bailey has been a member of the Boone Police Department since 2011 and has most recently been the School Resource Officer for the Boone Police Department and the Boone Community School District. He will begin his job as the Ogden Police Chief on February 1, 2023.
