Barnes 2023 Boone County Fair Queen, Garrison Fair Princess

BOONE, Iowa—Erin Barnes, daughter of Jeff and DeAnn Barnes was crowned the 2023 Boone County Fair Queen during a ceremony on the Leonard Good Stage on the Boone County Fairgrounds Thursday evening. Barnes was the reigning Boone County Fair Princess. Qyra Garrison, daughter of Nicole Bollenbaugh and Jake Garrison will reign as the 2023 Boone County Fair Princess.

Being selected as Fair Queen also includes a $400 scholarship and the Fair Princess receives a $200 scholarship. First runner-up Karli Herrstrom receives a $75 scholarship and Second runner-up, Cianna Weddle is the recipient of a $50.

Also, during the coronation activities, Paisley Jenkins was named the Lil’ Miss and Evan Dresher was named Lil’ Mr.
