BOONE, Iowa—After two years of the pandemic, the Boone County Hospital (BCH) BCH Auxiliary was able to hold their Annual Auxiliary Banquet again in April during National Volunteer Week. BCH is so grateful for all of our volunteers and their time.
Thank you to the outgoing (a few will stay on another term) Board members: Cathy Wetzeler, President; Carol Keithley, President-Elect; Teri Knight, Treasurer; Gayle Rinehart, Secretary/Cafeteria Chair; Connie Booth, Special Events; Dorothy Huffman, Information Desk Chair/Keeper of Hours; Rhonda Getschman, Head Gift Shop Buyer with Joyce Gragg and Jan Johnson; Jan Putnam, Surgery Waiting Room Chair; and Glenda Camelin, Historian. New Board members for the new two-year term and returning Board members are: Carol Keithley, President; Gayle Rinehart, President Elect and Membership; Teri Knight, Treasurer; Beth Carlon, Secretary; and Sandie Smith and Ginny Silberhorn, Flowers.
Items purchased by the Auxiliary over the past year included, but are not limited to: framed art in lobby, 100 baby books for the Family Birth Center, $5,000 to department requests, $2,000 to Employee Assistance, $2,000 to scholarships, and trail mix for the Foundation’s Trestle Hustle.
