BOONE, Iowa—The Boone County Hospital is preparing a short presentation for the 125-year Anniversary Celebration outside the main entrance of Boone County Hospital at noon on January 28th. Listen as guest speakers Mikaela Kienitz, BCH CEO; Joe Smith, former BCH CEO; Bob Getschman, BCH Board of Trustees Chair; and Dr. Devi Dunker, BCH Medical Staff, as they share reflections on the rich history of Boone County Hospital, its continued commitment to high-quality care, and the exciting plans for the future.
Following the presentation, enjoy live music by local musicians Jake Doty and the Swensongs. Guests are also invited to explore displays highlighting the hospital’s 125-year journey in the main lobby, enjoy a free meal, purchase a sweat treat, have a picture taken in the photo trailer, and for the little ones, inflatables for bouncing. It’s a celebration for the whole community—honoring our past, embracing the present, and looking ahead to the future.
