BOONE, Iowa—The apparent winner and new Representative for House District 48 will be Chad Behn. Behn picked up 9,122 votes on Tuesday and leads Penny Vossler who had 5,530 votes. A portion of Story County remains to be tabulated. The results are unofficial until canvased by the Boone County Supervisors next week. Behn will replace Phil Thompson who decided not to seek another term.
