BOONE, Iowa—The Boone School Board recognized Amanda Bentson with the May ‘DORS Award Monday night. Bentson was nominated for her work in the Boone Middle School Special Education program. The ‘DORS (Dedicated, Outstanding and Respected Service) Award is presented monthly to someone in the Boone Community School District for their service to the students, parents, co-workers and community.
