OGDEN, Iowa—Black Hills Energy plans two safety trainings a year for fire fighters, one in eastern Iowa and one in western Iowa. This year, the western Iowa site was Ogden. Ogden Fire Fighters and those from mutual aid fire departments were invited to take part in the training on extinguishing natural gas fires involving a variety of scenarios.
