Bog Patterson

KWBG 12/16/23

BOONE, Iowa—Bog Patterson, 55, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2023, at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the Grace Community Church, 625 South Division Street, in Boone. The family will greet friends for an hour prior to the service at the church.

Bog was born January 9, 1968, in Burlington, IA.  He went through the Burlington Catholic School system, graduating from Notre Dame in 1986.  Bog then attended the University of Iowa for many, many, many years ?. He graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Computer Science. Bog worked for the Boone Schools, as the director of technology, for 22 years.

Bog loved batteries, solar energy, the Hawkeyes and most of all his family.  He was happiest when spending time with his family and friends and if they would work on batteries with him, that was a bonus.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall Streets in Boone.  Online condolences may be left to Bog’s family at www.schroedermemorialchapel.com.
