BOONE, Iowa—For many years, 2nd Ward voters in Boone have cast their ballots at DMACC in the hallway between the Courter Center and the DMACC Gymnasium. Voting for 2nd ward patrons will be held at DMACC, but now they will need to enter through the Civil Engineering Technology entrance, or door 11 on the north side. Voting will actually take place in Room 146. Auditor and Commissioner of Elections Philippe Meier says there will be signs posted, directing people where to go. The location is changed to relieve the expected congestion associated with the DMACC men’s and women’s basketball games on November 6th.
