After trailing early, the Toreadors scored one run in the bottom of the third before scoring four runs in the fifth to take the lead.

They added two more insurance runs in the sixth.

The Toreadors carried that momentum into game two.

He also earned the win, striking out four as the starting pitcher.

Lennon tallied two hits and scored twice, while Braxton Gifford added two hits, two RBIs, and a run scored.

Gifford also contributed in relief, striking out two batters.

Henry Wright and Christeson each added runs scored.

The Toreadors improved to 11-7 overall and 4-5 in conference play, while Carroll dropped to 5-14 overall and 0-9 in league action.

The Toreadors are set to host North Polk (14-7 overall, 6-3 conference) on Wednesday, June 24, at Memorial Park.
