BOONE, Iowa—The Boone Municipal Band holds regular Wednesday evening concerts at the Herman Park Pavilion from the end of May to the middle of July. Every year the band turns over Wednesday evening to the Boone Big Band for an evening of big band music. The Boone Big Band is performing Wednesday, beginning at 7:30 at Herman Park Pavilion and will play rain or shine. The public is welcome and dancing is encouraged. There will be pie and ice cream.
The Boone Municipal Band will return with a concert on Wednesday, June 27th and will have their annual patriotic concert on July 4th.
