
On Friday, January 2, the Boone boys’ basketball team fell short in a Raccoon River Conference game at Winterset, dropping the contest, 54-34.
Landon Myers led the charge with 14 points on 7-of-10 shooting, while also dominating the glass with 9 rebounds and 4 blocks.
Hendrix Moorman added 9 points, knocking down two three-pointers and contributing 4 steals on defense.
Brandon Holm chipped in 8 points, including a pair of threes, and matched Moorman with 3 assists.
Dayne Brekke dished out 3 assists and maintained a 3.0 assist-to-turnover ratio.
Holm and Cole Christeson also tallied 3 assists each.
Defensively, Moorman and Christeson combined for 5 steals.
The Toreadors now sit at 2-5 overall and 0-5 in the Raccoon River Conference.
They travel to Carlisle Tuesday, January 6, for another conference matchup.
