
The Boone Toreadors boys’ wrestling team put together a strong performance Monday, January 5, rolling past Ogden, 58-21, in a dual at Ogden High School.
Boone won 11 of the 14 contested varsity matches, including several by fall and four by forfeit.
Boone opened the dual with back‑to‑back forfeit victories at 106 and 113, with Easton Landas and Aiden Harris each putting points on the board.
The Toreadors followed that at 120, where Mason Oostenink earned a fall in just 1:01 over Ogden’s Riley Saunders to make it 18-0.
Ogden got on the board at 126, as Cooper Long pinned Issac McCloud in 3:41, but Boone quickly answered.
At 132, Boone’s Ajay Braddock delivered one of the night’s most dominant wins, earning a 17‑2 technical fall over Ryder Eklund in under three minutes.
Ogden’s Kinnick Munson briefly tightened the score with a fall at 138, but Boone responded with another surge.
At 144, Boone’s Tate Hollenkamp secured a pin in 1:36, followed by Owen Thomas at 150, who ended his match in 3:16 by fall.
At 165, Boone’s Brody Warrick dominated with a 16‑0 technical fall in just 2:49 over Ogden’s Landon Alexander.
Boone then tacked on more at 175, where Trent Eckard won by forfeit, extending the advantage to 56-12.
Ogden picked up a decision at 190, where Jakob Crosman edged Boone’s Macon Robinson 7-5, and added another win at 215, with Ogden’s Cash Williams earning a fall in 1:43.
But Boone officially sealed the team victory at 285, where Eli Good received a forfeit to push Boone to its final total of 58 points.

Boone will travel to Gilbert for a dual meet Thursday, January 8, while Ogden travels to Earlham for a triangular with Southeast Valley and Earlham also on Thursday.
