
The Boone Toreadors boys’ basketball team traveled to Carroll on Tuesday, December 16, for a Raccoon River Conference game and lost, 59-42, at Carroll High School Gym.
Hendrix Moorman led Boone with 16 points, hitting five three-pointers on 5-of-10 shooting and adding a free throw.
Landon Myers scored 12 points, going 4-of-15 from the field and a perfect 4-of-4 at the line.
Myers also dominated the boards with 13 rebounds, including 4 offensive, and added 2 blocks.
Cole Christeson had 6 points on 3-of-6 shooting and pulled down 5 rebounds while leading the team with 5 assists.
Senior Dayne Brekke added 5 points and 3 assists, while Brandon Holm and Abel Tungesvik combined for 4 assists.
The loss drops Boone to 2-3 overall and 0-3 in conference play, while Carroll improves to 2-2 overall and 2-1 in the RRC.
Boone will travel to Bondurant-Farrar (0-4 overall, 0-4 conference) for another conference matchup Friday, December 19.
The girls tip at 6:00 with the boys following at about 7:30 p.m.
