
The Boone boys’ swimming team defeated Ames, 56–38, and cruised past Fort Dodge, 81–13, Thursday, January 22, at Ames, finishing their dual schedule with a perfect 10–0 record.
Boone won the 200 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relay.
In the 200 free relay, Brady Hyman, Carson Muggenberg, Simon Enabnit and Isaac Clark won in 1:29.88.
The same four won the 400 free relay in 3:21:02.
The 200 medley relay of Enabnit, Calvin Cook, Cooper Jensen and Issac Winey was second in 23.55.
Clark claimed wins in the 200 freestyle in 1:45.49 and in the 500 freestyle in 5:08.76.
Jensen captured first in the 100 butterfly in 58.41 and the 100 back in 1:00.44.
Mueggenberg delivered a win in the 100 freestyle in 49.36.
Enabnit finished second in the 200 IM in 2:11.11, and Isaac Winey was second in the 200 back in 1:04.01.
Calvin Cook was second in the 100 breast in 1:06.37 and was third in the 200 IM in 2:27.63.
Oscar Miller was second in the 50 free in 25.75 while Pearson Lampe was third in 25.80.
Hyman was third in the 100 free in 51.78 and fourth in the 200 free in 1:54.69.
Wes Schuler was third in the 100 breast in 1:12.11.
Caleb Bartlett was fourth in the 500 free in 5:51.83, and Marcus Cook was fifth in the 100 fly in 1:03.63.

Boone finished their dual schedule with a 10–0 record, and the victories improved Boone’s overall record to 33–12.
The Toreadors will compete at the North Central Conference meet in Decorah on Saturday, January 31.
