The Boone boys’ tennis team won the Pella Invite Saturday, April 19.
Boone scored 115 points while host Pella scored 110.
The Toreadors had a pair of 2nd-place finishers.
In singles, Owen Schneider finished 2nd, beating 3 opponents before losing in the final.
In doubles, Devin Silbaugh and Tyler LIndahl finished 2nd, also beating 3 opponents before losing in the final.
The doubles team of Calvin Jordan and Wes Van Pelt finished 6th, and Brandon Holm and Strummer Grout finished 7th with both teams going went 3-2 for the day.
Patrick Houser was 6th and Kyan Lehman was 7th in singles, and both individuals also went 3-2.
