The Boone boys’ track team had a busy weekend, running at the Charlie Bunn Relays Friday, April 11, at Humboldt followed by the Jim Duncan Invite Saturday, April 12, at Drake Stadium in Des Moines.
At Humboldt, the 4×200-meter relay of Lucas Boucher, Noah Davies, Lucas Moore and Maddox McIntyre were champions in 1:34.54.
Dorian Myers was runner-up in the 800-meter run in 2:09.17.
Myers also anchored the 4×800-meter relay which finished 3rd in 9:18.78, and the distance medley relay, which finished 3rd in 4:04.87.
The 4×800 included Max McLaughlin, Chase Mueller, Calvin Cook and Myers.
The distance medley relay included Justus Frese, Jonathan Van Rokel, Caler McClain and Myers.
The shuttle hurdle relay of Noel Malin, Brendan Hedrick, Bodie Brogden and Jordan McCloud also finished 3rd in 1:10.38.
Boone finished 3rd as a team with 85 points while host Humboldt won with 155 points.
Jim Duncan Relays
At Des Moines, Jude Baumgardner finished 5th in the shot put with a throw of 49-10.5.
The shuttle hurdler relay finished 13th in 1:13.15.
McIntyre finished 15th in the 200-meter dash in 24.05 and was part of the 4×400-meter relay, which also finished 15th.
The 4×400 included McIntyre, Malin, McCloud and Brogden.

The boys will run at the Dodger Relays at Fort Dodge this afternoon.
