The Boone boys’ basketball team came from behind to win in overtime against Perry, 83-78, Thursday, December 19, in Boone.
The Bluejays led, 18-10 at the end of the 1st quarter and were up by 2, 36-34, at the half.
At one point, the Toreadors were down by 13 in the 3rd quarter and pulled it to 58-53 at the end of the 3rd quarter.
Boone evened it up to 71-71 at the end of regulation and pulled off the overtime win, 83-78.
Braden Brooks led the Toreadors with 33 points, 15 in the 1st half and 18 in the 2nd half.
Jude Baumgardner had 12 points, and Hendrix Moorman added 12.
The win puts Boone at 4-2 and Perry also has a 4-2 record.
The Toreadors head to Bondurant, dear Bondurant-Farrar, at 7:30 p.m. tonight.
