BOONE, Iowa—Eight youth from Boone County 4-H, joined youth from eight other county 4-H programs for the 2018 Intermediate 4-H Discover Minnesota Trip. (Intermediate: 7th-8th grade 4-H Members) A total of 47 youth and six adults attended the trip that took place June 5th-7th. Over the course of their three day trip 4-H’ers were able to spend time exploring the Science Museum of Minnesota, attending a MN Twins Major League Baseball Game, taking a scenic boat ride on the Mississippi River with Padelford Cruises, having incredible hands-on experiences at the Microsoft Technology Center, working with small groups to master The Escape Game, and enjoying making memories with new friends at Valley Fair and the Mall of America. Boone County 4-H strives to provide a safe environment for all youth to have fun & educational opportunities within their clubs, communities, country, and world!
