Boone County Fair Queen Coronation Scheduled for July 15th

BOONE, Iowa—This year at the Boone County Fair there are three candidates for Boone County Fair Queen. The candidates have completed an application and will be interviewed before the crowning on Thursday, July 15, 2021. The Fair Queen candidates are:

Mary E. Woodard. Mary is the daughter of Mary and Ron Woodard. She will be a senior at Woodward-Granger High School. Her future goals are to major in psychology and minor in sociology.

Hannah Chesnut. Hannah is the daughter of Amy and Justin Chesnut. She will be a junior at Boone High School. Her future goals are to go to Iowa State University and to study to be an athletic trainer.

ShyAnne Brogden. ShyAnne is the daughter of Cynthia Brogden. She will be attending Des Moines Area Community College at Boone in the Fall. Her future goals are to become a small animal veterinarian and open her own practice.

The reigning 2020 Fair Queen is Ally Baumhover. Ally is the daughter of Niel and Lisa Baumhover. She attends Iowa State University majoring in Animal Science and double minoring in business and genetics. She has plans to become a large animal veterinarian.
