BOONE, Iowa—The Boone County Road Department has announced the planned detour that will be in place during the closure of County Road E-18 or 130th Street at Pilot Mound for a culvert replacement project. The project was expected to start March 10th but was delayed to March 24th and could take up to three months to complete, depending on weather. This project will replace the bridge over Bluff Creek between Pilot Mound and P-70 or “H” Avenue.
