Boone County Road Department Plans Bridge Work Next Week

BOONE, Iowa—The Boone County Road Department is planning to work on the Des Moines River Bridge on Boone County Road E-57 next week. The announcement for the County Engineer expects work to begin Monday and be completed by Friday, weather permitting:

Boone County, Iowa-April 22, 2024- Road work on the bridge deck for E-57 bridge going over the Des Moines River will restrict the roadway across the bridge to one lane traffic. The bridge is located between Peach Avenue and Magnolia Road.

Please drive with caution and obey signs posted in the work area.
