BOONE, Iowa—The Boone Community School District has named Tim Pezzetti as its next 7th-12th grade activities director.
Pezzetti has more than 20 years of experience in this administrative role, most recently serving as the activities director for Bolivar High School in Missouri. He has also served in similar positions in Gilbert and Colo-NESCO in Iowa and Lebanon, Missouri.
“I am truly honored to join the team in the Boone Community School District,” Pezzetti said. “I cannot wait to start working with the great people I met while interviewing, along with the rest of the Toreadors who I have yet to meet. It quickly became clear that the community support is outstanding here, and the activities and athletics department is ready to work together to achieve the success that we are all seeking.”
In 2023, Pezzetti was recognized as a Certified Master Athletic Administrator by the National
Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association.
Pezzetti is married to his wife, Cindy. Together, they have three sons (Corey, Collin, and Cross), along with grandsons Levi and Isaac.
“We are excited to welcome Mr. Pezzetti to our school district, as he has the right mix of skills, experience, and commitment needed to lead our activities department moving forward,” said BCSD Superintendent Dr. Julie Trepa. “We look forward to seeing the impact his leadership will have on our students, coaches, families, fans, and community members.”
