Boone Football defeats Newton 25-21
Tyler Casotti rushed for 2 touchdowns and threw for another as Boone got their first win of the season over Newton on Friday Night. The game winning touchdown was scored by Christian Bushore with 1:01 in the 3rd quarter. The Toreadors scored the last 13 points and played well on defense down the stretch. Boone will host Gilbert next Friday night while Newton travels to Ottumwa.
