
The Boone girls’ cross country team finished third at the Clear Lake Invitational on Thursday, September 17.
Boone finished with 121 points, trailing meet champion Clear Lake with 51 points and runner-up Denver with 100.
Bondurant-Farrar was fourth with 158 points, while Northwood-Kensett rounded out the top five with 172.
Emma Thomas led the Toreadors, finishing seventh in 20:09.1.
Whitney Chesnut was right behind her in eighth place with a time of 20:11.7.
Briella Johnson gave Boone its third top-15 performance, placing 13th in 20:57.2.
Reagan Morgan finished in 35th place with a time of 22:29.2, while Chloe Chesnut completed Boone’s scoring five in 64th place at 24:11.2.
Bryana Morgan finished 76th in 25:11.8, and Lauren Erickson was 80th in 25:27.5.

The Boone girls return to competition Thursday, September 24, at the Norsemen Cross Country Invitational at River Bend Golf Course in Story City.
