The Boone girls’ basketball team headed to Ballard for its first Raccoon River Conference game and lost, 39-23, on Tuesday, December 10.
Macy Chesnut, Sydney Adams and Ava Johnson each had 5 points for the Toreadors.
Brooke Weisbrod and Maleah Shivers added 3 points each, and Avery Howie ended with 2 points.
Boone is now 3-2 on the season and 0-1 in the conference.
Ballard is 2-3 overall and 1-0 in conference play.
The Toreadors face Gilbert (3-1 overall, 1-1 conference) at 6:00 p.m. Friday, December 13, at Boone.
