The Boone girls’ soccer team fell to Newton, 3-1, Friday, April 4, at Goeppinger Field.
Neither team scored in the 1st half.
However, Newton scored 3 goals in the 2nd half to Boone’s 1 and took the game.
Delaney Good scored 1 goal for the Toreadors.
Ava Johnson had 6 saves.
Newton improved to 1-2 while Boone fell to 1-1 on the season.
The Toreadors host Greene County (0-2) at 5:30 on Tuesday, April 8, at Goeppinger Field.
